HADRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD AS 55 of His. With Lekh Ram's death, all Aryas were smitten. Islam reigned supreme, and the Hindus were humiliated. The battlefield remained in our hands with great honour, and it was proven that God is the very God who is the God of Islam and the One who revealed the Quran. Now, along with this, if I were insulted, if I was threatened with death, if my home was searched—then all these sorrows are nothing in comparison to this joy [of victory]. In fact, another prophecy was fulfilled through this fitnah, which I will now relate. With the death of Lekh Ram, the face of the enemy had already been disgraced, but the search of my home cast even greater insult upon their deceitful pretexts and falsehood suffered indisputa- ble humiliation! These are the three fitnas that befell me from the time of Barāhīn[- e-Ahmadiyya] up until today. These events were so conspicuous that I am certain that every single individual in our country who has the right to be called a human being is well aware of these three fitnas. Now, the question that needs to be examined is whether these three fitnah were mentioned in Barāhīn-e-Ahmadiyya or not. Accordingly, I see as clearly as the light of day that all three of these fitnas-from the fitnah of the Christian priests to the fitnah of the brilliant Sign-have been mentioned in Barāhīn-e- Ahmadiyya. In fact, the word fitnah is indeed present at the time of each mention. So now, with a pure heart and a clear vision, read the following passages that I am quoting here from Barāhīn-e- Ahmadiyya, and they are as follows:
