56 A VERDICT REQUIRED THE FIRST FITNAH: Page 241 of Barāhīn-e-A Barāhīn-e-Ahmadiyya:¹ وَلَنْ تَرْضَى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَ لَا النَّصَارَى . وَخَرَقُوْا لَهُ بَنِينَ وَبَنَاتٍ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ. قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ . اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ. لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ. وَيَمْكُرُوْنَ وَيَمْكُرُ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ. اَلْفِتْنَةُ هُهُنَا فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُولُوا الْعَزْمِ. وَقُلْ رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ. Translation: That is, the Jews will not be pleased with you. Here, 'Jews' refers to the maulawīs with Jewish traits, as mentioned earlier in the previous page of Barāhīn. And then God further said that the Christians will also not be pleased with you, meaning the Christian priests, and He said: They have fashioned sons and daughters for God out of ignorance. Say to these priests that God is One, He is Self- Existing and Besought of all. No one is His son, nor is He anyone's son, and there is none like unto Him. (This is a reference to the debate on Trinity and Tauhid, which took place at Dr. Martyn Clark's residence in Amritsar a few days before the prophecy. ) He then said: These Christians will devise a plan against you and Allah, too, will devise His plan against them. 1.
