HADRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD AS 31 الا انني في كل حرب غالب وَبَشَّرَنِي رَبِّي وَ قَالَ مُبَشِّرًا فكدني بما زوّرت فالحق يغلب سَتَعْرِفُ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ وَالْعِيْدُ أَقْرَبُ وَمِنْهَا مَا وَعَدَنِي رَبِّي وَاسْتَجَابَ دُعَائِي فِي رَجُلٍ مُفْسِدٍ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ الْمُسَمَّى لِيَكْهَرَامِ الْفِشَاوِرِي وَأَخْبَرَنِي رَبّى أَنَّهُ مِنَ الْهَالِكِيْنِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ يَسُبُّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ وَيَتَكَلَّمُ فِي شَأْنِهِ بِكَلِمَاتٍ خَبِيثَةٍ. فَدَعَوْتُ عَلَيْهِ. فَبَشِّرَنِي رَبِّي بِمَوْتِهِ فِي سِتَّةِ سَنَةٍ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَا يَةٌ لِلطَّالِبِينَ. Translation: I am victorious in every battle; in other words, I am granted victory in every contest. So (O Muhammad Husain Batalawi), connive in کمر ]makr-plotting] in whichever way you wish, but the truth will certainly come to prevail. And God gave me the glad tidings of a Sign and said: Soon, you will recognize this event on the day of Eid; that is, the day of joy on which that Sign would be manifested. And the indication of this Sign is that the Eid [Festival] would be close to it. And my Lord gave me a promise and heard my prayers concerning a mischievous man-an enemy of Allah and His Messenger-named Lekh Ram of Peshawar, and He has informed me that he will perish; he vilified the Messenger of Allah, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and uttered profani- ties against him. So I invoked a curse upon him; then my God had given me the news that he [Lekh Ram] would die within a period of six years. In this there are Signs for those who seek [the truth].
