32 A VERDICT REQUIRED And this revelation that I have just mentioned: عِجْلًا جَسَدًا لَّهَ خُوَارٌ، لَهُ نَصْبٌ وَعَذَابٌ Meaning that Lekh Ram is Sāmirī's calf and he will be punished just like that very calf. This is a profoundly insightful revelation which is unfolding the deepest secrets of the unseen through the similitude of Samirī's calf. One of them is that the calf of Sāmirī had been cut into pieces during the day of a festival for the Jews, as is proven from verse 5 of Exodus, chapter 32, of the Torah, which states, And Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD . Therefore, in the very same manner, Lekh Ram, was also murdered close to the day of Islamic Eid; that is, on 6 March 1897. Since a day of festival was speci- fied for the destruction of Samirī's calf in the Books of God, and it was indeed on a day of celebration when the calf of Samirī was crushed under God's command, it was for this reason that God Almighty-by naming Lekh Ram the 'Calf of Samirī'- employed such a term which had been making the inescapable allusion to the fact that Lekh Ram would also be murdered dur- ing the very days of Eid. Although those who understand the subtle mysteries of God's Word could have inferred from the use of the title 'Calf of Samiri' and from the mention of that punishment that it was inevitable that the date of Lekh Ram's death would be similar to the day the calf of Samirī was destroyed, God Almighty was still not satisfied with this generality in His revelation. Instead, He had asserted in clear terms:
