HADRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD AS 17 LETTER FROM PANDIT LEKH RAM Respectfully submitted to the noble Mirza Şāḥib. Namaste. A great deal of correspondence has taken place between us since my coming here (in Qadian), but no satisfactory conclusion has been reached. Now, as I consider it neces- sary to make some consequential decision for the sake of manifesting the truth, I therefore implore that you kindly fix a time today and come to the Madrasah, or suggest any other place apart from your own residence, and inform me, so that I may present myself along with my brothers Kishan Singh, Hakīm Diā Rām, and Pandit Nihāl Chand Ji, and reach a decision with you regarding the heavenly signs, revelations, and the debate surrounding them. Otherwise, you should remember well that I have estab- lished my argument against you and that it is not for the wise to shy away from facing the truth. Most humbly, the seeker after truth, Lekh Ram 5 December 1885 Letter of Pandit Lekh Ram
