56 TESTIMONY OF THE HOLY QURAN I will allow not the work of any worker from among you, whether male or female, to be lost. 1 Devour not your property among yourselves by unlawful means, except that you earn by trade with mutual consent. 2 Meaning that, if you are ill or on a journey, or come from the privy, or you have touched women, and you find not water, then in all these circumstances, betake yourselves to pure dust. 3 Meaning that, obey Allah, the Messenger, and your sovereigns. Meaning that, whichever person from among you com- mits any evil deed due to his ignorance, and then repents and becomes occupied with doing good deeds, then Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful. 1.
