1 Meaning that, whoso among you is sick or is on a jour- ney should fast the same number of other days. Now think whether this injunction was exclusively for the Companionsra, or whether all other Muslims who will be born till doomsday are its addressees? Likewise, ponder over the following verses: 2 Meaning that, this is an admonition for he among you who believes in Allah and the Last Day. Meaning that, and those of you who die and leave wives behind. Meaning that, there should be among you such people who should invite to goodness, enjoin equity, and forbid evil. 1. Sūrah al-Baqarah, 2:185 [Publisher] 2. Surah al-Baqarah, 2:233 [Publisher] 3. Sūrah al-Baqarah, 2:235 [Publisher] 4.
