If the word is added to someone's name to imply the general sense of Mister or Miss/Ms, it should be omitted in the English translation. For example, Deputy Abdullah Atham sahib would be translated as Deputy Abdullah Atham; note that sahib is dropped because it is not necessary. Similarly, inclusion of sahib for every name in a list of names is unnecessary, aside from the fact that it is distracting and redundant. However, when the term sahib is added to a stand-alone word, the term is included in the English translation; otherwise, the translation would sound awkward and disrespectful. For example, Deputy Sahib [sahib is necessary or else Deputy as a stand-alone
