CH. 47 MUHAMMAD PT. 26 اللهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمْ فِى بَعْضِ الْأَمْرِ وَاللهُ revealed, “We will obey you in يَعْلَمُ اِسْرَارَهُمْ some matters;' and Allah knows their secrets. 3809 فَكَيْفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلَيْكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ But how will they fare when. 28 وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَارَهُمْ the angels will cause them to die", smiting their faces and their backs? 29. This is because followed that which displeased ذلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اتَّبَعُوا مَا اسْخَطَ الله they وَكَرِهُوا رِضْوَانَهُ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ Allah, and disliked the seeking of His pleasure. So He rendered their works vain. R. 4. أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِيْنَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ أَنْ Do those in whose hearts is. 30 لَنْ يُخْرِجَ اللَّهُ أَضْغَانَهُمْ a disease suppose that Allah will not bring to light their malice?3810 وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَا رَيْنُكَهُمْ فَلَعَرَفْتَهُمْ And if We pleased, We. 31 could show them to thee so that b بِسِيْمُهُمْ وَلَتَعْرِ فَنَّهُمْ فِي لَحْنِ الْقَوْلِ thou shouldst know them by وَاللهُ يَعْلَمُ أَعْمَالَكُمْ their marks. And thou shalt surely recognize them by the 3809. Commentary: 4:98; 8:51; 16:29. the significance of the words "Allah knows their secrets. " 3810. Important Words: (dighnun) which is inf. noun from their malice) is the plural of) أضغانهم means, he was ضغن عليه. (daghana) ضغن side with The reference in the words, "those who hate what Allah has revealed," is to disbelievers who never liked that any good should be sent down to the Faithful from their Lord (2:106). The hypocrites would not disbelievers openly and unreservedly. A hypocrite is too wily a person to burn his boats. He faces both ways. But, says the verse, God would expose their double-facedness. This is 2930 or became affected with rancour, malice or spite against him. means, rancour, malice, spite; violent hatred, enmity; desire or yearning or longing of the soul, etc. (Lane & Aqrab).
