PT. 26 MUHAMMAD CH. 47 فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمُ إِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَنْ تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِعُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ 23. Would you then, if you are placed in authority, create disorder in the land and sever your ties of kinship?3807 أُولَيكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمُ It is these whom Allah. 24 وَاعْلَى أَبْصَارَهُمْ curses so that He makes them deaf and makes their eyes blind. أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَى قُلُوبِ Will they not, then, ponder. 25 أَقْفَالُهَا over the Quran, or is it that on the hearts are their locks?3808 اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ارْتَدُّوا عَلَى أَدْبَارِهِمْ مِّنْ بَعْدِ Surely, those who turn their. 26 y has backs after guidance مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْهُدَى الشَّيْطَنُ سَوَّلَ become manifest to them, Satan لَهُمْ وَأَمْلَى لَهُمْ has seduced them, and holds out false hopes to them. ذلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لِلَّذِيْنَ كَرِهُوا مَا نَزَّلَ That is because they said to. 27 those who hate what Allah has 4:83. 2:218; 3:87; 5:55. means, the dawn means, he told or spoke the truth. Ja means, he fought well; he gave a good account of himself in the fight. all means, he was firm in fight shone clearly. fulfilled, or he was true to his promise with me. The Quranic expression que al means, he (33:24) means, they were true to their covenant with Allah and fulfilled it (Lane & Aqrab). 3807. Commentary: The verse signifies that believers have been allowed to fight because if the power of disbelievers had not been broken, they would have created disorder in the land and would have severed all ties of kinship and trampled underfoot all rightful claims. The verse also signifies that if believers refused to fight the disbelievers now, Arabia would continue to suffer from disruption and disintegration and forces of evil would stalk the land. 3808. Commentary: This verse constitutes an enlargement of the one preceding it. It purports to say that it is because disbelievers do not ponder over the Quran and do not try to understand and realise the real purpose of Islamic wars that they lose their spiritual sight and hearing and begin to find fault with the Quranic commandments about war. 2929
