CH. 47 MUHAMMAD PT. 26 and for believing men لِذَنْبِكَ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنتِ ask protection for thy frailties and وَاللهُ يَعْلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمْ وَمَثْكُمْ believing women. And Allah knows the place where you move about and the place where you stay 3804 R. 3. 'Why is not a Surah revealed?' وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَتْ سُورَةٌ And those who believe say. 21 فَإِذَا أُنْزِلَتْ سُوْرَةٌ مُحْكَمَةٌ وَذُكِرَفِيْهَا But when a decisive Surah is الْقِتَالُ رَأَيْتَ الَّذِيْنَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ mentioned therein, thou seest revealed and fighting is those in whose hearts is a with the look of one in a death- مَّرَضٌ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ نَظَرَ الْمَغْشِي disease, looking towards thee عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ فَأَوْلَى لَهُمْ faint. So ruin seize them!3805 طَاعَةٌ وَ قَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوفٌ فَإِذَا عَزَمَ Obedience and reasonable. 22 قف الْأَمْرُ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا اللهَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا when the matter is determined نَّهُمْن speech is proper for them. And upon, it is good for them if they were true to Allah. 3806 "2:264. proved to be the prelude to the appearance of many signs. 3804. Commentary: For the meaning and significance of the expression see a detailed note on 40:56 & 48:3. The words may mean, when you move about transacting your affairs and when you take rest, or may apply to this world and to the next. 3805. Important Words: and (ruin) is derived from means, nearer; more deserving; more competent; more fit. The expression is used to give warning, and 2928 means mischief or trouble has approached near thee, so be on your guard. The expression also means, woe to thee; woe be thy lot (Aqrab). Commentary: The verse means to say that whereas true believers avidly wait for a verse to be revealed which should embody a Divine commandment directing them to fight in the way of Allah, "those in whose heart is a disease," shudder at the very idea of being invited to fight. 3806. Important Words: صدق. (were true to Allah) صدقوا الله
