CH. 40 AL-MU'MIN PT. 24 وَيُقَوْمِ اِنّى أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمُ يَوْمَ And O my people, I fear for. 33 التَّنَادِة you the day of calling one another for help, 3520 يَوْمَ تُوَثُوْنَ مُدْبِرِينَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنَ اللهِ A day when you shall turn. 34 your backs fleeing. No defender مِنْ عَاصِمٍ ۚ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللهُ فَمَالَهُ مِنْ shall you have against Allah هاده And for him whom Allah adjudges astray, there shall be no guide. وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ يُوْسُفُ مِنْ قَبْلُ بِالْبَيِّنَتِ And Joseph did come to you. 35 before with clear proofs, but فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِمَّا جَاءَكُمْ بِهِ حَتَّى you ceased not to be in doubt concerning that with which he إذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَنْ يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ مِنْ بَعْدِم. came to you till, when he died رَسُوْلًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفُ مُّرْتَابٌ you said: 'Allah will never raise a Messenger after him. Important Words: (calling one another) is derived (tanād) being synonymous with having been دال tanaddone) يوم التناد ie. he نادي الرجل They say. نادی from called the man loudly or he sat with ,means تنادى القوم him in the assembly يوم التناد. the people called one another omitted, -means the day when people will take fright and disperse in different directions; or when they will hate and oppose each other and will become separated (Aqrab). 3521. Commentary: The verse purports to say that Prophets have been coming in the world from time immemorial but men are so constituted that whenever a means, the day of mutual calling, the day of calling one another for help i. e. the day of distress. (tanādda) may be taken to have been derived from (nadda). means, the camel took fright and fled or ran away or ran at random. Prophet came they rejected and (tanādda) means, the people dispersed; or hated and opposed and separated.
