PT. 24 AL-MU'MIN CH. 40 36. "Those who concerning the Signs of Allah الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي أَيْتِ اللهِ بِغَيْرِ dispute سُلْطن أتُهُمْ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِنْدَ اللهِ without any authority having come to them from Allah. Grievously hateful is this in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who believe. Thus does Allah set a seal upon the heart of every arrogant, haughty person. " 37. And b6 وَعِنْدَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يُهَامُنُ ابْنِ لِي صَرْحًا " :said : تَعَلَّى أَبْلُغُ الْأَسْبَابَ Pharaoh Hāmān, build thou for me a lofty tower that I may attain to the means of access- 3522 أَسْبَابَ السَّمَوتِ فَاطَّلِعَ إِلَى إِلَهِ The means of access to the. 38 heavens, so that I may have a مُوسَى وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُ كَاذِبًا وَكَذَلِكَ look at the God of Moses, and I زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ وَصُدَّ عَنِ ط surely think him to be a liar. ' And thus the evil of his doing السَّبِيلِ وَ مَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ إِلَّا was made to look fair in the eyes of Pharaoh, and he was turned away from the right & path; and the design of Pharaoh ended but in ruin. 3523 a7:72; 13:14. 28:39. 28:39. فِي تَبَابِ disbelievers has led to the rejection of peep, as he mockingly said, at Moses' every Prophet. 3522. Commentary: Puffed up with power, wealth and great material resources, Pharaoh insolently mocked and jeered at Moses because he said that he had been sent by the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Pharaoh wanted, as it were, to go up to heaven to have a God, but God made him see a manifestation of His power in the depths of the sea. | 3523. Commentary: 2783 The verse means to say that all the evil designs of Pharaoh against Moses recoiled on his own head and ended only in his own ruin.
