CH. 29 AL-'ANKABŪT PT. 20 إِنَّا مُنْزِلُونَ عَلَى أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ We are surely going to bring. 35 down on the people of this town a punishment from heaven, for they have been rebellious. '2963 رِجَزا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ وَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَا مِنْهَا آيَةً بَيْنَةَ لِقَوْمٍ And We have left thereof a. 36 يَعْقِلُونَ clear Sign for a people who would understand. وَإِلى مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا فَقَالَ يُقَوْمٍ And to Midian We sent. 37 their brother Shu'aib who said, اعْبُدُوا اللهَ وَارْجُوا الْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا O my people, serve Allah, and فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ fear the Last Day and commit not iniquity in the earth, creating disorder. ' فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا But they called him a liar. 38 فِي دَارِهِمْ جَثِمِينَ So a violent earthquake seized them, and in their homes they lay prostrate upon the ground. 2964 e6 وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَقَدْ تَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ مِنْ And We destroyed “ Ad and. 39 Thamūd; and it is evident to you مَّسْكِنِهِمْ ۖ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطنُ from their dwelling places.
