PT. 5 as to AN-NISA' 116. And opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to CH. 4 وَمَنْ يُشَاقِقِ الرَّسُوْلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ him who الْهُدَى وَيَتَّبِعْ غَيْرَ سَبِيلِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ نُوَلِهِ مَا تَوَلَّى وَنُصْلِهِ جَهَنَّمَ وَسَاءَتْ him, and follows a way other than that of the believers, We shall let him pursue the way he is pursuing and shall cast him into Hell; and an evil destination it is. 582 R. 18. ۱۷ مَصِيرًان اِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُمَا Allah shall not forgive. 117 that anything be associated with دُونَ ذلِكَ لِمَنْ يَّشَاءُ وَمَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللهِ Him as partner, but He will forgive what is short of that to whomsoever He pleases. And "whoso associates anything with Allah has indeed strayed far away 583 فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَللًا بَعِيدًا اِنْ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِةٍ إِلَّا إِنَّا وَإِنْ They invoke beside Him. 118 none but lifeless objects; and they invoke none but Satan, the rebellious, 584 a7:4. b4:49. º4:137. يَدْعُونَ إِلَّا شَيْطَنَّا مَّرِيدًان associations for the purpose of fact that the divine guidance has conducting the political affairs of a nation or a country, for their object also is to promote peace among mankind. This teaching, if faithfully acted upon, should go a long way to establish peace and harmony in the world. 582. Commentary: The verse means that people who oppose the Prophet openly or secretly and seek for themselves a way other than that of believers, in spite of the 703 become clear to them, will be deprived of the means of guidance, and God will let them follow the wrong course they are pursuing, i. e. they will increase in their hypocrisy and disbelief. 583.
