A'INA-E-KAMALAT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS وَكَيْفَ أَخَافُ نَهِيْقَ قَوْمٍ مُفَنَّدٍ wolf. وَكَيْفَ يُؤثر حُجَّتِن فِي نُفُوسِهِمْ مَثِيْلَ عُوَاءِ الذِّنْبِ بَلْ صَوْتَ جُدْجُدِ How can I fear the noises of a people Whose voice is like a ram—not even a وَلَا حَظَّ مِنْ سِرِّ الْهُدَى لِضَفَنْدَدِ And how can my admonition make an impact upon them? The ignorant have no share in the secret of divine guidance? تَبَيَّنَتِ الْآيَاتُ حَقًّا فَمَا رَأَوْا وَصَالُوْا وَخَالُونِي عَلَى غَيْرِ مَرْصَدِ The Signs have been fully manifested, but they do not see. They attacked and imagined that I am without a protecting fortress. وَإِنِّي أَبَنْتُ لَهُمْ دَلَائِلَ مَقْصِدِي وَلَيْسَ لَهُمْ أَدْنَى الدَّلَائِلَ فِي الْيَدِ I have fully explained to them the arguments for my objectives, But they do not possess even the most trivial of arguments. وَقَدِ اسْتَتَرَوْا كَالطَّيْرِ فِي وُكَنَاتِهَا لِمَا عَجَزُوْا مِنْ قِبَلِ عَضْبٍ مُحَدَّدِ They hid themselves like birds in their nests When they despaired of combating the sharp sword [of my arguments]. فَمَا قَاوَمُوْنِي فِي مُصَافٍ وَمَا اهْتَدَوْا فَقُلْنَا اخْسَتُوْا لَا خَوْفَ مِنْكُمْ لِمُهْتَدِى None of them confronted me steadfastly, nor accepted guidance; So I said: Be gone!
