A'INA-E-KAMALAT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS وَإِنْ نَاضَلْتَنِي فَتَرَى سِهَا مِنْ وَمِثْلِى لَا يَفِرُّ مِنَ النِّضَالِ If you confront me in releasing the arrows, you will witness the sharpness of my arrows The one like me does not flee from the fray. سها من لَا تَطِيْشُ بِوَقْتِ حَرْبٍ فَإِنْ قَاتَلْتَنِي فَأُرِيْكَ أَنِّي أَبِالْإِيْذَاءِ أبالإيذاء أَتْرُكُ أَمْرَ رَبِّي 586 الْقِتَالِ وَسَيْفِيْ لَا يُغَادِرُ فِي My arrows do not miss in the battlefield And my sword spares no one in battle. مُقِيمٌ في مَيَادِيْنِ الْقِتَالِ If you fight me, I will show you That I am steadfast in the battlefield. وَ مِثْلِن حِيْنَ يُؤْذِى لَا يُبَالِي Will I abandon the commandment of my Lord due to persecution, While those like me care not for the torments? وَكَيْفَ أَخَافُ تَهْدِيْدَ الْخُنَاثَى وَقَدْ أُعْطِيْتُ حَالَاتِ الرِّجَالِ How can I be fearful of the threats of the coward, While I have been granted faculties of a resolute stalwart? ألا إِنِّي أَقَاوِمُ كُلِّ سَهْم وَاقْلِي الْإِكْتِنَانَ عَنِ النَّبَالِ Beware! I will confront every arrow I do not approve of closing down the fortification for fear of arrows. فَإِن حَرْبًا فَحَرْبُ مِثْلَ نَار وَإِن سِلْمٌ فَسِلْمٌ كَالزَّلَالِ If you want to fight, you will confront a fire from our side But if you desire peace, we are for reconciliation like sweet water. وَحَرْيِن بِالدَّلَائِلِ لَا السّهَامِ وَقَوْلِى لَهْدَمٌ شَاجُ الْقُذَالِ My fight will be with arguments, not the arrows And my speech is a sharp sword, which breaks the nape of the neck.
