A'INA-E-KAMALAT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى نَبِيِّكَ دَائِمًا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا وَبَعْثٍ ثَانِ O my Lord! Eternally shower blessings on Your Prophet- In this world and the next. يَا سَيِّدِي قَدْ جِئْتُ بَابَكَ لَاهِفًا وَالْقَوْمُ بِالْإِكْفَارِ قَدْ أَذَانِي O my master, as I am oppressed, I have come to your door to seek redress; These people slander and torment me by calling me kafir [a disbeliever]. يَفْرِي سِهَامُكَ قَلْبَ كُلِّ مُحَارِبٍ وَيَشُجُ عَزْمُكَ هَامَةَ النُّعْمَانِ Your arrows pierce the heart of all enemies, And your firm resolve crushes the head of the serpent. دَرُكَ يَا إِمَامَ إمَامَ الْعَالَمِ أنتَ السَّبُوقُ وَسَيِّدُ الشُّجْعَانِ Bravo! O leader of the world! You rank above all—the bravest of the brave. بِرَحْمَةٍ وَتَحَبُّنِ أُنْظُرْ إِلَيَّ يَا سَيِّدِى أَنَا أَحْقَرُ الْغِلْمَانِ Look at me with mercy and grace- 0 my master!-I am your most humble servant. يَا حِبِّ إِنَّكَ قَدْ دَخَلْتَ مَحَبَّةٌ في مُهْجَتِي وَمَدَارِكِي وَجَنَانِي O my beloved! My adoration for you has penetrated Into my blood, heart, soul and body. مِنْ ذِكْرِ وَجْهِكَ يَا حَدِيْقَةَ بَهْجَتِيْ لَمْ أَخُلْ فِي لَحْظٍ وَلَا فِي أَنِ Oye my garden of delight! You live in my memory all the time— I see your face every moment of my life. جِسْمِي يَطِيرُ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ شَوْقٍ عَلَا يَا لَيْتَ كَانَتْ قُوَّةُ الطَّيَرَانِ My body yearns to fly towards you out of love- Would that I had the power to fly! 584
