A'INA-E-KAMALAT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS نَهَبَ اللَّقَامُ نُشُوْبَهُمْ وَعِقَارَهُمْ فَتَهَلِّلُوا بِجَوَاهِرِ الْفُرْقَانِ The despicable looted their money and property; So they enriched themselves with the pearls of the Furqan [i. e. Holy Quran]. كَسَحُوا بُيُوتَ نُفُوسِهِمْ وَتَبَادَرُوا لِتَمَتُّع 578 وَالْإِيمَانِ الْإِيقَانِ They thoroughly cleansed their souls of all impurities, And moved forward to gain the wealth of certainty and faith. قَامُوا بِإِقْدَامِ الرَّسُولِ بِغَزُوهِمْ كَالْعَاشِقِ الْمَشْغُوْفِ فِي الْمَيْدَانِ In battle, they stood with the Messenger in ranks. Intoxicated in love, they marched forward to the battlefield. فَدَمُ الرِّجَالِ لِصِدْقِهِمْ فِي حُبِّهِمْ تَحْتَ السُّيُوْفِ أُرِيْقَ كَالْقُرْبَانِ For their sincere devotion, the blood of the brave was shed Under swords, like sacrificial animals. جَاءُوْكَ كَالْعُرْيَانِ هُوبِيْنَ فَسَتَرْتَهُمْ بِمَلَاحِفِ الْإِيْمَانِ They came to you looted and naked, And you clothed them with the cloak of faith. صَادَفْتَهُمْ قَوْمًا كَرَوْثٍ ذِلَّةٌ فَجَعَلْتَهُمْ كَسَبيكَةِ الْعِقْيَانِ You found them dirty like a heap of dung, And transformed them into a piece of pure gold. حَتَّى الثَنَى بَر كَمِثْلِ حَدِيقَةٍ عَذْبِ الْمَوَارِدِ مُثْمِرِ الْأَغْصَانِ And the wilderness of Arabia was transformed into such a garden, The streams of which are pleasant and sweet, and the trees of which are laden with fruits. عَادَتْ بِلَادُ الْعُرْبِ نَحْوَ نَضَارَةِ بَعْدَ الْوَجَى وَالْمَحْلِ وَالْخُسْرَانِ The towns of Arabia awoke to life once again, Leaving the days of death and drought behind.
