570 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS May Allah keep him in good health and protect him from all harm. May He grant him longevity, spent according to His Divine will and make him one of the chosen ones. I see the wisdom flowing from his mouth. In the same way, the Divine light pours down wherever he is seated. I see this Divine light pouring down upon him incessantly in such a way as guests like to stay with a particular host with their heart's full content. Whenever he puts his heart into interpreting the Book of Allah, he discovers the mysteries and profound meanings contained therein, which flow like fountains. And he unveils the rare ideas of wis- dom that remained hidden under layers. He treats the subtle topics in a very meticulous way and delves deep into the details of the facts, dis- covering the bright light. When he delivers a speech, the intellectuals-while accepting the fact that his words carry astonishing and amazing effects-listen to him with undivided attention. He shows the truth like a pure gold ingot is shown and thoroughly refutes the objections of the opponents. This age has been hit by the storm of philosophy; rather, disorder and depravity are more prevalent than that. These incidents have made the youth restless and agitated. Furthermore, so far as religious scholars are concerned, they have become deprived of the wealth of spiritual knowledge, as well as the pearls of mysteries belonging to the Gracious Lord, as bones are left bare after the flesh has been removed. In these terrible circumstances, this brave man stood up and retali- ated against the enemies of the Holy Prophet sas as meteorites strike the companions of Satan. So, he (Maulawī Ṣāḥib) is as important among the scholars as a pupil in the eye and he is like a bright sun in the sky of wisdom. He fears no one but Allah and is not content with superficial and baseless opinions; rather, his profound understanding compre- hends such subtle mysteries, hidden in the land of wisdom, of which the source is often deeply undiscoverable. What a gem of a person he is! It is only Allah who can reward him. Allah has returned to him, his snatched away property and now he is of the people who have been bestowed with abilities. All praise
