568 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI UL-WASĀWIS He is a young man with a pure heart, who loves me, and I love him. He rushes to me with all his energy even on short notice. He received enormous rewards and repeated blessings from Allah the Almighty because of his virtues and his kindness towards his relatives. Allah has made his life a source of help for Islam as well as for Muslims. He has a rare bond with my heart. In my love, he faces different types of reproaches, endures hardships, and bears the separation of his home- land as well as his friends. It becomes easy for him to abandon his homeland in order to listen to my words. Out of his deference to my rank, he has abandoned his motherland to which his memories are closely connected. He follows me in my every action the way the beating of a pulse follows the rhythm of respiration. He is wholeheartedly committed to fulfilling my wish, and whenever he is demanded of something, he gives and never lags behind. Moreover, whenever he is called for a purpose, he is always the first to say labbaik (I am present) among the people. He possesses a kind heart and excellent moral values. So far as his generosity is concerned, it is like a heavy rain. In addition to that, his company reforms the hearts of pretentious ascetics. He attacks the enemies of the Faith like a young and ferocious lion. He has stoned the disbelievers with his arguments and has performed a deep analysis of the doctrines of the followers of the Vedas. He invaded the territory of these fools, pursued them, and ultimately destroyed them. He has written his books in refutation of liars with such superb expertise, which can be observed during the fascinating process of bam- boo straightening to craft javelins. Through his hands has Allah put the followers of the Vedas to shame in such a way as if ash were smeared on their faces and their countenance turned sombre; thus, they became like dead bodies. They wished to retaliate, but how can the dead come back to life after their death? Consequently, they (the followers of the Vedas) retreated in failure. If they had any sense of honour, they would not have retaliated, but shamelessness is part and parcel of these people as they are attacking again like the ones who are ready to be slain.
