556 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS agonizing fire enveloped his heart and he left this world with pain. With great regret, he took the reminiscence of past benedictions along with him to his grave. These are the Signs for those who deny. This news was a source of distress and pain for them. They started to slap their faces due to this incident. These are the same people who used to say that they did not know who Allah was. They would say there is no other life than that of this worldly life in which we live and die—we will never be raised again. His death became a source of great distress for them, as now they could not meet him. His time to profit from this world had reached its end. They have witnessed how my revelation was fulfilled with clear Signs and how its power showed itself in all its force. Its end was known from the very start. They were frightened due to their loss. During these days, they could not sleep. Their night never turned into day, for the darkness of their gloom overwhelmed them. When people came to offer their condolences, they met them with broken hearts and their eyes were full of tears. When they learnt the news of his death, the wails of their mourning were heard and they started to beat their heads due to the departure of their beloved one from this world. So, they rushed towards the ruined houses. Thus, they wept, tore off their clothes, slapped their cheeks, and wounded their heads. As far as their women are concerned, they said while wailing, 'This is the day of our enemy, who had prophesied. Now he has been proven true!' O seekers of truth! Reflect on this, whether it was a meaningless vision and a lie from a human being. Ask the grieving family who feels ashamed in their hearts today and are weeping over their dead and say- ing, 'Alas! It was we who were wrong!' My Lord has given me glad tid- ings that.
