Verily this religion-Islam—is a living religion, comprehending all blessings, manifesting numerous Signs, enjoining good, and for- bidding evil. He who speaks against it, or expresses therewith dissent, certainly lies. We seek refuge with Allah from those who fabricate lies. Allah has cursed them on account of their concealing truth and pro- tecting falsehood, and He has taken away the natural lights from their hearts; thus, have they forgotten their identity with them, and rejoice in their prejudices and vices. O Queen! Verily this Quran purifies hearts, bestows lights within them, and induces spiritual bliss and contentment. He who follows it, in fact, finds the light given to the Prophets. It bestows its lights only to those who do not desire self-exaltation in the earth, nor disorder in the world, and who come to it passionately seeking its lights. It is they whose eyes are opened and whose souls are purified, and they suddenly begin to see. Verily, I am among those whom Allah has granted the lights of the Furqan [Holy Quran], and who has been bestowed with the most pro- found knowledge of the Quran. Thus, He illumined my heart, and I discovered its guidance as do the men of God. Then, my Lord sent me to convey His message to humanity, and granted me manifest Signs so that I might call mankind towards His religion. Blessed are those who accept me, who remember death, seek Signs, and after their observa- tion come to believe. O gracious Queen! Undoubtedly, the immense favour of Allah was conferred upon you in terms of worldly bounties. Hence, you should also turn to the Heavenly Kingdom. Repent and bow before the One Lord who has not begotten a son- -He with whom there is no partner in His Kingdom—and do glorify His name. Do you take beside Him gods who create nothing, but are themselves created? If you are in any doubt regarding Islam, here I stand to manifest Signs of its truth. He is with me in every moment. He grants me when I pray to Him and replies to my entreaties, and when I seek His help, He helps me. I know
