512 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS He will help me in every conflict and will not let me go to waste. Are you-fearing the day of mutual crying-eager to see my Signs and to witness my truth and honesty? O Queen! Repent! I repeat: Repent! Listen attentively! I repeat: Listen attentively! May Allah bless your provisions and everything you possess and may you be among those who are shown mercy. If, at the time of trial, I turn out to be a liar, then I am ready to be killed or hanged, or to have my hands and legs amputated and be among those who are slaughtered. But, if my truth becomes manifest, I ask nothing from you but to return to the One who has created, nourished, and honoured you He who has granted you all of that which you sought. Hence O Queen of vast nations and Empress of India!—listen attentively to my message and be not like those whose hearts shrink with aversion and turn away at the mere mention of truth. O gracious and glorious Queen! May Allah liberate you from all your worries, prolong your life and the lives of your beloved progeny, grant you safety, and protect you from the evil of enemies and enviers. I have written this advice with the utmost sincerity, being compassion- ate to you and your progeny. I pray seeking the blessings of night, day, governance, and battlefield for you. O Queen of the land! Embrace Islam, the result of which you will be saved. Submit, so that Allah will provide for you till the Day of mutual calling, and you will be saved and protected from enemies— the guards appointed by God protecting you. O gracious Queen! I am a man whom Almighty Allah has drawn to the Hereafter, detached from this world. I do not ask of Him from this world except two mere morsels of bread and a glass of water, and He has turned my heart away from selfish desires. I do not desire self-exal- tation-the glory of this world and its adornment—rather, I seek to be among those for whom the couches shall be arranged in Paradise: those who shall be provided with its bounties and shall enjoy themselves in the garden of the holy court of God. O Queen! I am a Muslim and Allah has bestowed upon me His true
