AT-TABLIGH―TO THE NOBLE AND PIOUS OF THE ARABS 467 Thus, He has limited the life of people to this earth just as He has restricted their deaths to its dust. Do you forsake the Word of Allah and the testimony of His Prophet sas and follow other sayings? An evil abode is for the wrongdoers. O ye people! Allah has revealed this secret to me and taught me what you did not know, and He has sent me to you as Ḥakam [Arbiter] and Adl [Judge], so that I might manifest unto you what was concealed from you. Hence, you should not entertain any doubt nor indulge in disputes; rather, ponder upon His Words: يُعِيسَى إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ and read this verse up to the words 2 [the Day of Resurrection]. Think deeply and see how Allah began with the death of the Messiah and related the entire episode of 'Isa in chronological order, ending it with the words [the Day of Resurrection], but in this entire sequence-reading this verse up to the words Day of Resurrection-He never mentioned the descent of the Messiah [Jesus] anywhere. He did not mention anything new in this sequence of events because in Allah's knowledge, his descent was nothing but the descent of his aims and objectives on the manifestation of his Second Coming who would come close and draw near to him in his faculties. He dyed his second appearance in his hue and made him a replica of himself in a manner till, by way of unification, he was lost in him and enveloped him and he resembled his original figure in faculties. His intellect grew close to his, his morals to that of his morals, his potential to that of his potential, and his nature to that of his nature till they became one with each other, and till they both were given the same name in Heaven. If you are eager to delve deep into the depth of this mystery and 1. O Jesus, I will cause you to die a natural death (Surah Al-e-Imran, 3:56). [Publisher] 2. Surah Al-e-Imran, 3:56 [Publisher]
