454 Ā'ĪNA-E-KAMĀLĀT-E-ISLĀM―DĀFI‘UL-WASĀWIS Allah and the ways of His Messenger sas, they turn their heads away arrogantly, make a jest of the Warners of Allah and mock them. They say: 'Surely, things such as sainthood, the grace of Divine con- verse and discourse, and Messengership are worthless. If we desire, even the lowest of our followers can attain that status, but we abhor these kinds of matters. ' Allah has set a seal on their hearts so they see not the truth, never seek it, nor even respect it. They disdain him whom Allah has sent to His servants, and they claim that Allah has informed them that such a one is a disbeliever and the most egregious liar. They persist in their claim and continue lying. They say: 'All the blessings are associated with the vow of allegiance, while this man does not have the honour to be associated with the allegiance of any spiritual master. ' Hearken! To be in their allegiance is nothing but a futile bargain. Their claim is nothing but a downright lie fabricated by deceivers. Alas for them! Do they not know that the Messiah shall descend with all the wealth of his knowledge from the heavens and shall take nothing from this world? Why do they fail to understand? The spirit of Allah lives in them—they speak with it, illuminate there- with every person whose nature is pure, bestow favours with it, and through it are they apprised of the treasures of knowledge. They con- clusively establish the argument of Allah against everyone who persists in rejecting and denying the truth. They are helped only by Allah and He fills their hearts with the insights of the Holy Quran. He reveals in advance very rare and unique developments of the age to them. He bestows upon them what others are denied, and they thus stand distin- guished. He grants to them such a kingdom that does not suit others, and they are exclusively chosen for His favours. Oye rebellious-ye deniers! How can this grace be granted to you? O ye liars! Show me the fruitful impact of your pledge of alle- giance with your spiritual masters if it exists. If there is blessing in your
