452 Α'ΙΝΑ-Ε-ΚΑMĀLĀT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS those who indulge in their own evil—those who follow not the right path nor seek the truth—indeed, such are the arrogant ones. O ye people! Verily, the descent of the Messiah is a matter of the unseen, so Allah has disclosed His secret in the manner that He willed. Argue not about His secrets and do not transgress your limits know- ingly. If you are in doubt about my word and my claim, then come to my town and spend some days in my company. Allah will reveal upon you my inner state and will judge concerning that about which you dif- fer. Should you wield the power, then venture forth to prove the signs of your truth and to witness my truth-assemble your infantry, your cavalrymen, your brothers involved in innovation and worship of the graves, then pray against me and grant me no respite. If you prevail over me then slaughter me with any blade of your choice. Know for certain that Allah will surely humiliate you! He supports none but His servant and elevates naught but His religion. O creators of disorder! He will certainly destroy you. Verily, Allah is not pleased with infidelity, idolatry, and innovation in His servants. It is only His enemies who are to be slaughtered. Verily, He is with me and He has revealed to me the mystery of the Messiah's descent, which has been rendered obscure to you. It is a trial from Allah; He conceals and reveals whatsoever He wills. Such has been His way regarding the secrets of the unseen. So, woe betide those who dispute in the secrets of Allah as if they have fathomed them, and have come to comprehend all their hidden mysteries, and they are not fearful! O people! A tree is known by its fruits, and soon you will recognize me by my fruits—thus, why do you dispute? Hold your tongues from declaring anyone a disbeliever and restrain your hands from harming anyone. Fear the wrath of Allah, the Most Supreme. Pray to Allah for the disclosure of these secrets and soon you shall be informed. Verily, I call you towards a matter in which there is a spring for your welfare and a remedy for your doubt. It is that every one of you should strive hard and beg Allah Almighty to show you a vision disclosing the reality of the matter at hand, or to grant to you a revelation that harmonizes with
