AT-TABLIGH- TO ELDERS OF INDIA, AFGHANISTAN, EGYPT & BEYOND 451 O ye ignorant ones! Are you men or eunuchs? Do you not see that discord is rife, that thick darkness has spread around and encompassed you? The earth has cast out that which was in her and has become empty. They do not walk grovelling upon their faces; rather, they ask about every arising doubt in order to dispose it off. They do not insist upon falsehood, nor are they neglectful. Upon them are the favours, mercy, and blessings of Allah, and these are they who have been shown mercy. O ye people! Ask me if you harbour any doubt, and call upon Allah-in humility and in secret—imploring Him to reveal the truth to you; and lo, upon you will it surely be revealed! Do not sit with
