74 ΑΙΝΑ-Ε-ΚΑMĀLĀT-E-ISLAM-DAFI UL-WASĀWIS درخشد در خور و در ماه بنماند ملاحت را مراہر جا که می بینم رخ جانان نظر آید Wherever I look, I see the face of the Beloved; He shines in the sun and shows Himself in the beauty of the moon. حریص غربت و عجزم ازاں روزیکه دانستم که جادر خاطرش باشد دل مجروح غربت را I have loved poverty and humility from the day I learned That the wounded heart of the humble is honoured in His presence. من آن شارخ خودی و خودروی از یخ بر کندم که می آرد زناپاکی بر نفرین و لعنت را I have pulled out from its roots, the tree of ego and haughtiness, That bears the unholy fruit of hatred and curses. به بینی اندران آل دلبر پاکیزه طلعت را اگر از روضه جان و دل من پرده بردارند If the curtain were drawn from the garden of my innermost being, You would glimpse therein the radiant trace of the Pure-Faced Beloved. فروغ نور عشق او زبام و قصر ما روشن مگر بیند کسی آن را که میدارد بصیرت را The radiating light of His love shines forth from my entire house, But it is visible only to those who possess the vision of understanding. نگاه رحمت جانان عنايتها بمن کردست و گرنه چوں منی کے یا بد آن رشد و سعادت را The glances of the mercy of my Beloved have bestowed countless favours on me; Otherwise, how could someone like me enjoy such good fortune and blessings? ز دست خود گنده معنی و مغز و حقیقت را نظر بازان علم ظاہر اندر علم خود نازند The learned ones in mundane knowledge are proud of their learning, But they have cast aside the reality and true essence with their own hands.
