THE MESSAGE OR A CRY OF ANGUISH 19 being disseminated and masses are being deceived, still argue that there is no need to refute these objections other than taking legal action and sending memorials to the Government. It is true that our beneficent Government is ready to dispense justice to every victim, but we should also fully realise that the harm being done by the accusations of the opponents is not limited to their harsh words that are offensive to many a heart, rather what is more alarming is that many ignorant and naive people, believing these objections to be true, are beginning to hate Islam. Therefore, the harm that affects people's faith and is, in fact, more danger- ous deserves to be addressed first, lest we continue to engage in punitive lawsuits and let the naive and ignorant perish by these satanic suspicions. God Almighty, Who is far more jealous for His faith and His Messengersas than us, repeatedly exhorts us to write a rebuttal and thus, against using foul language enjoins: When you hear hurtful remarks from the People of the Book and idolaters, and surely you will hear many upset- ting words in the latter days, at such time if you remain steadfast, you would be counted among men of high resolve in the sight of God. Reflect upon this piece of advice which is particular for this age since the Muslims have never before suffered so many insults, aspersions and abuses. This is the age in which millions of blas- phemous and insulting books have been composed. This is the age in which our beloved Prophet, our Lord and Master, our Guide and Leader, Muhammad the Chosen One, Ahmad the Elect, the
