In short, as our opponents, by raising thousands of objections, have intended to distort and mar the illuminating and beautiful face of Islam, so contrarily, all our efforts should be singularly devoted to establishing the supreme beauty, perfection and innocence of this holy faith. Rest assured that true sympathy for the misguided demands that we apprise them of the errors of their false and worthless objections, and demonstrate to them the luminous, blessed and immaculate face of Islam. The task that is incumbent upon us is to lay bare the deceit and fabrication that has alienated other nations from Islam. This is the foremost task, and if we were negligent in this regard we would be held accountable before God and the Messengersas. True compassion for Islam and true love for the Holy Prophetsas requires that we prove our Lord and Master, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and Islam to be innocent of these accusations, and offer no fresh opportunity for the suspicious hearts to assume, as if we want to stop the critics by force and are reluctant to write a rebuttal. Every individual follows their own opinions and ideas. But God Almighty has opened my heart to the fact that in this day and age the true sup- port to Islam consists in uprooting the seed planted with a view to defaming [Islam]; in demolishing the accusations propagated across Europe and Asia, and in demonstrating the light and bless- ings of Islamic teachings to other people so that they are dazzled by them and their hearts become estranged from those liars who have published these fabrications with an intent to deceive.
