QAŞĪDAH ON THE SIGN AND ITS DENIERS I have brought pure and clear water which is not cloudy, Whereas others are drinking a trickle from the forest brush. The righteous came to me and swore allegiance to me, Fearing their Lord on the Day of Judgement. As for the wicked, they labelled me a disbeliever; They cursed me and did not understand my speech. They issued edicts based on their imagination, not on knowledge, And said [I am a] disbeliever who covertly advances disbelief. They attacked me like snakes or wolves; But Allah is a Guardian for the truthful one. They surely lied and my Creator is watching them; They became like slaves of Satan. 475
