The Light of Truth — Page 449
QAŞIDAH ON THE DAYS OF ALLAH I see it resemble the gutter of a decrepit house; Nothing remains except distressing rubble. The sun of Allah was eclipsed after His lunar eclipse; I regard it to be like a dilapidated home. It was eclipsed and opacity manifested around its sides; The light faded the way water disappears into the earth. It faded so quickly that it resembled a dark night; It resembled a Warner who is rejected and denied. Scenes of darkness manifested as though the sun, Had cast its hand into the night or it were a star. The sun and the moon were mutually agreed on my truthfulness; They stood as witnesses and the cloud [of doubt] dissipated. 449
