QAŞIDAH ON THE DAYS OF ALLAH Did you not enquire of an experienced person at the time of trouble? For every matter, there is a question and a teacher. You cry because of this little darkness; I walked in the dead of night, O you who comes at night! I praise the Lord of Creation, as He, Manifested my likeness in the heavens and thus I rejoice. The moon of the heavens resembles my nature; Like the camel that ambles in the evening, it is cheerful. The aims of our Lord became clear with the lunar eclipse; So seek His guidance, though I do not imagine you do so. His great Signs manifested in my country by the grace of God, So repent and fear [Him]. 445
