REFUTING OBJECTIONS If, however, you inquire into something of its detail, then I inform you of it but a little. Know that Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, has built the system of the Religion [of Islam] around Ramadan, for He sent down the Quran during it. Accordingly, when the distinction of this holy month is proved by the very system of the Religion; and which contains Lailatul-Qadr [the Night of Destiny], which is the origin of the light of the Firm Religion; and when it is proved that it was in Ramadan that Divine Providence directed itself to the order of good and brought about this flood [of blessings], then it becomes clear that Allah does not turn towards helping this system in the final days of darkness except for during that month which is blessed for Islam. You have already come to know that the lunar and solar eclipses represent a Jamālī movement and Jalālī appearance. Moreover, they contain light for rejuvenation and spiritual transformation. They signify the first ‘brick' for the founding of the order of good, as well as for the building of mosques and the demolition of the monastery. Contained within them is the triumph of heavenly powers over earthly ones, and of the Messiah's light over Dajjal's machinations. Allah is showing His creation a bright lamp, so they are enter- ing the Religion of Allah in droves, and this was a fate decreed by the Lord of all the worlds. 431
