QAŞĪDAH ON THE MAHDI'S ADVENT It is by His grace that I have set down [divine] knowledge in writing; I poured an ocean of knowledge into the goblets. O people! My Sign appeared in Ramadan, From my Lord, the Gracious, the Requiter. If you so desire, read the verse of my Lord- خَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ ]the moon is eclipsed']¹—and cease your enmity; Then [read] the Hadith, the hadith of the family of Muhammadsas: An explanation for what he recites from the Furqan. This is the statement of our Prophet and Beloved, So turn towards him, and give up mention of the lowly. This is harder [to bear] for my enemies and their people, Than the striking of a sharp sword and arrows.
