QAŞĪDAH ON THE MAHDI'S ADVENT Repent from wrongdoing and He will forgive your sin; Allah is Compassionate and His mercy is vast. Verily your Mahdi has come and his Sign has appeared; So hasten to him with a sincere heart, O young people! I have proofs with me, so is there anyone who will believe; There is a light that can be seen by those who are close by, so is there anyone who will come close? The proofs have become clear, so after their appearance, You no longer have any excuse in the presence of the King. This is the time of help from the Lord of the Heavens; Whose aim is true, destroying the mischief-makers. Heaven's angels have descended to help me; The enemies have been frightened by a spiritual army. The lightning of the Faith struck in the land of the enemies; And divine guidance appeared like pearls in its lustre. 399
