QAŞĪDAH ON THE MAHDI'S ADVENT 393 Do you think that Allah breaks His promise? Do you deny the promise of the Quran? O ye people! Abandon the ways of disobedience, Become my helpers solely for the sake of Allah. O ye who have transgressed in your ignorance; Repent from corruption and transgression. Anger not your Master-repent and fear God! Like the fearful, fall prostrate upon your faces. The moon leads you to the light of guidance; And the sun invites you to faith. The Signs of the Creator of mankind have been manifested for you, In your country, for the one supported by God. Is this some act of an astrologer, Or a great Sign of exalted stature?
