QAŞĪDAH ON THE MAHDI'S ADVENT 389 The enemies died out of humiliation and sorrow; And the truth became as visible as a sword unsheathed. Allahu Akbar! How evident He made this Sign! He unveiled [the truth] by illuminating the proof. Was this not the work of the All-Powerful Lord, Or do you see it merely as the machinations of man? Was this an astronomical phenomenon, or was it divination, Which you ruminated over like a liar and mischief-maker? So return to the True [God] who humiliated my enemies, And debased every one who labelled me a disbeliever and cursed me. Today-after the passing of a month of fasting- Is Eid for the people; but for us, there are two Eids. Today is a pure and most blessed day! With His Signs, He debases the oppressors.
