REFUTING OBJECTIONS The Master has judged between us, so do not disobey the Judge; Extinguish the flame of rebelliousness and separate from those who kindle fires. Bid farewell to the wrongdoers and forsake their generosity, And mention not the hardship or ease of days gone by. Leave the company of those who follow their own desires and seek not to please them; Rush to the Gracious God and seek His pleasure and to be pleased with Him. Do not teeter like a dog fly or a lame horse; Become, instead, a charging steed in His paths. Should the foolish curse you for seeking guidance, Then for the sake of pleasing God, be pleased with their cursing. 377
