وحش وجه First part of the day. امِنُوْا بِالَّذِى ---- وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ : Believe . . . . . . in the early part of the day )373( وَجْهُ الْقَوْمِ : The leader of the people. لِيَسُوْءُ ا وُجُوْهَكُمْ : Cover your faces with grief or disgrace your leaders )17:8( وَجْهُ الدَّهْرِ : First part of the time. وَجْةٌ also means rank; dignity; honour. وَجِيَّةٌ : Honoured, respected, dignified. لَيْسَ لِكَلامِكَ وَجْةٌ : There is no sense or meaning or truth in your talk. فُلانٌ أَحْسَنُ الْقَوْمِ وَجْهَا : Such a one is most handsome physically or in manners and morals. ذَهَبَ عَلَى وَجْهِه : He went at random. وَجْهُ أَمْرٍ : The end or result of an affair to which it leads. وَجْةٌ also means the mode or manner of a thing. مِنْ كُلِّ وَجْهِ : In every respect; from every point of view. حَبَسَهُ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ : He restrained him from his object, purpose or object. وَجْةٌ also means consideration and regard. وجْهَةٌ : Direction object or purpose; cause or reason; destination; mode or manner of 28 action. وَ لِكُلِّ وَجْهَةٌ : And for every one there is a goal )2:149(. وَحَدَ ]aor. يَحِدُ inf. noun وَحْدًا and وَحْدَةً[ and وَحْدَ ]inf. noun وَحَادَةٌ[ : He or it was or became or remained alone, by himself, itself, apart from others. وَحْدَ الله )inf. noun تَوْحِيْدٌ( : He declared God to be one or declared his belief in the unity of God. وَحْدٌ and وَحَدٌ : Alone. رَأَيْتُهُ وَحْدَهُ : I saw him alone. لا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ : There is no deity but God alone. إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ : When Allah alone is mentioned )39:46( وَاحِدٌ : One; the first of the number, in several cases syn. with اَحَدٌ )alone; single).
