قدر It : جَاءَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ valleys flow according to their measure or magnitude (13:18). عَلَى الْمُوْسِعِ قَدَرُهُ : The rich man according to his means )2:237(. هَذَا قَدَرُ هَذَا : This is the like of this in quantity; is commensurate with or proportionate to this. اَخَذَ بِقَدَرٍ حَقِّهِ : He took as much as his due. هُمْ قَدَرُ مِائَةٍ : They are as many as a hundred. جَاوَزَ قَدَرَهُ : He exceeded his proper limit, bound or measure. came according to measure; it suited or matched. ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ يُمُوسى : Then thou camest up according to measure or standard O Moses! )20:41( قَدْرٌ also means, estimation, value, worth, rank, greatness, majesty; honourableness. وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِه : And they have not made a just estimate of God )692( قَدْرٌ : Decree, ordinance or destiny لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ : The Night of Destiny, decree. )973( قِدْرٌ : A cooking-pot or vessel (plural( قُدُوْرٍ قُدُوْرٌ رَّاسِيَاتٍ : Cooking vessels fixed in their places )34:14( قَدْرَةٌ and The : وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قَدَرًا مَّقْدُوْرًا all inf. nouns مِقْدَارُ and مَقْدِرَةٌ and اِقْتِدَارٌ command of Allah is an ordained decree. مَقْدُورٌ )pass. part.
