قبل قَتَرَ قتر 28 ان their Prayers. فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً : So We will turn thee to the Qibla )2:45( قِبْلَةٌ also means مُتَقَالَةٌ . . e. facing each other. وَاجْعَلُوْا بُيُؤْتَكُمْ قِبْلَةً : And make your houses facing one another )10:88( قِبْلَةٌ also means, manner or method. قَبْلُ : Before. (contr. of مِنْ قَبْلُ وَمِنْ بَعْدُ بَعْدُ : Before or after that )30:5( قُبْلٌ : The front or fore part; the first part. الْقُبُلُ مِنَ الزَّمَانِ : The first part of the time. قُبْلٌ : Aim or object. الْقُبُلُ : The anterior pudendum of a man or woman. قُدَّ مِنْ قُبُلٍ : If it is torn from the front )12:27( قَبُولٌ: Favourable reception; acceptance; approbation; love and approbation and inclination of mind; goodliness, beauty, grace or comeliness. بِقَبُوْلٍ حَسَنٍ : With a gracious acceptance )3:38( قَبِيلٌ : Bail obedience; wife; a party of three and more; kind, species, class, race. إِنَّهُ يَرَاكُمْ هُوَ وَقَبِيْلُهُ : He sees you, he and his tribe )7:28( مِنْ قَيْلٍ ذَلِكَ i. e. مِنْ جِهَتِهِ : From its direction. رَأَيْتُهُ قَيْلًاً : I saw him clearly before me and face to face. تَأْتِيَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْمَائِكَةِ قَبِيلاً : Thou bring Allah and the angels before us face to face )1793( قَيْلَةٌ of which the plural is قَبَائِلَ means, a body of men from one father and mother )tribe) while قَيْلٌ signifies a body of men from several ancestors. وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ : And We have made you into tribes and sub-tribes )49:14( قَيْلَةٌ also means a mass of stone or rock at the mouth of a well. تَقَابَلُوْا : They confronted or faced one another )مُتَقَابِلٌ act. part. from عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ . تَقَابَلَ )plural of مُتَقَابِلٌ( : On thrones facing one another )15:48( قَابَلَهُ : He was opposite to him. ]aor. يَقْتُرُ and يَقْتِرُ inf. noun قَتْرٌ and قَتَرَتِ النَّارُ قُتُوْرٌ : The fire smoked. قَتَرَ : It (substance) was barely sufficient. قَتَرَ عَلَى عِيَالِهِ : He was niggardly towards his household. وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوْا : Who are not niggardly )25:68( قَتَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ : His means of subsistence were straitened to him. اقتر : He became poor, needy, or his property became small though some of it yet remained with him. أَقْتَرَ عَلَى عِيَالِهِ : He was niggardly towards his household اَقْتَرَ الشَّيْءَ : He stuck to the thing. أَقْتَرَ اللهُ رِزْقَهُ : God made his subsistence scanty and strait. مُقْتِرٌ )act. part from أَقْتَرَ(. One whose means of subsistence are scanty, poor, indigent. وَعَلَى الْمُقْتِرِ قَدَرُهُ : And the poor man according to his means )2:237(. 678
