امر 28 يَابَتِ افْعَلْ أَمْرٌ [إِمَارَةٌ : Command (plural( اَمَرَهُ اَوَامِرُ : He commanded him, ordered him, enjoined him. أَمَرَهُ بِهِ or أَمَرَهُ إِيَّاهُ : He commanded or ordered him to do it. آمرٌ )act. part. . مَأْمُورٌ )Passport(. أَمَرَ and أَمِرَ )aor. يَأْمُرُ ( : He held command or became commander or governor. أَمِرَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ : He became an أَمِيرٌ )commander) over the people. (inf. noun أَمَّرَهُ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ . (إِمَارَةٌ : He made him governor or leader over the people. أَمَرَاءُ اَمِيَّرٌ )plural) : Governor, leader, king etc. أَمِرَ ]aor. يَأْمُرُ( : It (a man's property) multiplied. أَمِرَ الْاَمْرَ : The case or affair became distressful, difficult or severe. مَا تُؤْمَرُ : O my father, do whatever thou art commanded )37:103(. أَمَرَهُ فِي أَمْرِهِ or إِنْتَمَرَهُ : He consulted him respecting his affair. امروا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَنْفُسِهِنَّ : Consult women respecting themselves. وَلْتَمِرُوْا بَيْنَكُمْ بِمَعْرُوفٍ : And consult one another with kindness )65:7( إِنَّ الْمَلَا يَأْتَمِرُونَ بِكَ : The chiefs are consulting together respecting thee )28:21( وَلَئِنْ لَّمْ يَفْعَلْ مَا أُمُرُهُ : And now if he does not do what I bid him )12:33( اَوَامِرُ اَمْرٌ and اَمُوْرٌ plural] : A command; an order; a bidding; an injunction; a decree; an ordinance etc; judgement, course of action; choice; precaution; authority; government or management; an affair; business; a matter; a concern; a case; a purpose; a thing; a condition or state; an important event; affair of state. أَتَى أَمْرُ اللهِ : The decree of God is coming )16:2( وَكَانَ اَمْرُ اللَّهِ قَدَرًا مَّقْدُوْرًا : And the command of Allah is a decree ordained Say, the soul is by the command of : قُلِ الرُّوْحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي (33:39) my Lord )17:86(. فَالْتَقَى الْمَاءُ عَلَى أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ : So the waters met for a purpose that was decreed )54:13( وَمَا أَمْرُ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ : And the matter of the Hour is but as the twinkling of an eye (16:78). مَا كُنْتُ قَاطِعَةً أَمْرًا : I never decide any matter (or affair of state( His is the creation and the command : اَلا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ (27:33). و )07:55( أُولُوا الْأَمْرِ : Those who possess the command or authority. وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأَمُوْرُ : And to Allah do all things return )2:211( وَمَا فَعَلْتُهُ عَنْ أَمْرِى : And I did not do it of my own accord (choice, : فَاجْمِعُوْا أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَاءَ كُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ اَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً (18:83) (judgement So muster, then all your designs and your partners; then let not your course of action be obscure to you )10:72( وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا And excess in our affair or conduct )3:148( ذَاقُوْا وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ : They 35 :
