زلف 28 28 لگ زَكِيَّةٌ) أَرْضُ زَكِيَّةٌ feminine): Good, fat land. لَاَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَامًا زَكِيًّا : That I may give thee a righteous son )19:20( اَزی : More or most profitable; better or best; more or most pure; more or most lawful; good or pleasant; more or most abundant and cheap: ذَلِكُمْ أَزْكَى لَكُمْ : This is more or most pure for you )2:233(. أَيُّهَا أَزْكَى طَعَامًا : Which of them has the purest food )18:20( قَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا زَكِيَّةً : Hast thou slain a pure or innocent person )18:75(. ]aor. يَزَلُّ inf noun زَلٌ and زَلَلٌ and زُلُوْلٌ[ : He slipped and fell. زَلُّ عَنِ الْحَقِّ : He deviated or turned away from truth. زَلٌ عُمُرُهُ : His life glided away. زَلٌ فِي نُطْقِهِ : He made a slip or mistake in his speech; زَلُّ زَلَّةً meaning the same. فَإِنْ زَلَلْتُمْ : But if you slip )2:10( فَتَزِلُّ قَدَمٌ : So your foot will slip )16:95( أَزَلَّهُ and اِسْتَزَلَّهُ : He caused or made him to slip. أَزَلَّهُ عَنْ رَأْيِهِ : He made him to turn from his opinion. فَأَزَلُّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا : So Satan caused them to slip therefrom )2:37( إِنَّمَا اسْتَرَ لَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ : Surely, it was Satan who made or sought to make them slip (3:156). و لک زل زَلَّ God : زَلْزَلَ اللَّهُ الْأَرْضَ زَلْزَالٌ and زِلْزَالٌ and زَلْزَلَةٌ inf. noun يُزَلْزِلُ . aor] زَلْزَلَ made the earth to quake or to quake violently, or put the earth into a state of convulsion or violent motion. زَلْزَلَهُ : He frightened him and terrified him. زَلْزَلَ الْإِبْلَ : He drove the camels with violence or vehemence. اللَّهُمَّ اهْزِمِ الْأَحْزَابَ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ : God rout the combined armies and make them quake with fear 28 22 )a saying of the Holy Prophet( )وَزُلْزِلُوْا زِلْزَالاً شَدِيدًا : And they were violently shaken )33:12( زَلّةٌ : A slip زَلْزَالٌ : Commotion, agitation, convulsion زَلَلٌ : A slip; a deficiency. زَلْزَلَةٌ : Convulsion or violent motion; an earthquake or a violent earthquake ) زَلازِلُearthquakes; calamities-plural( إِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَيْءٌ عَظِيمٌ : The earthquake of the Hour is a tremendous thing (22:2). زَلَفَ aor. يَزْلُفُ inf. noun زَلْفًا and زَلَقًا[ : He advanced and drew near. زَلَفَ : He made brought or drew him or it near. أُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ : The Heaven shall be brought near to the righteous )2691( أَزْلَفَهُ : He collected it together. وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ الْآخَرِيْنَ : And We collected there the others and then We brought them near the others to that 362
