زحف زجا high or loud, vehement voice, forbidding to undertake the thing in question. أَبُوْزَاجِرٍ : The crow اِزْدَجَرَهُ : He chid him, repelled him, checked him. اِزْدُجِرَ : He is repelled, chidden, reproved. مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ : A mad man who is drived, repelled, spurned )54:10( مُزْدَجَرٌ : Prevention, prohibition; threatening warning. مَا فِيْهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ : Wherein is a warning )54:5(. زَجَا ]aor يَرْجُو inf. noun زَجَا الشَّيْءُ زَجَاءٌ : The thing became urged along quickly. زَجَااَ الْاَمْرُ : The affair was or became easy and right. أَزْجَاهُ )and زَجَّاهُ and زَجَاهُ(: He pushed it gently; he drove or urged it gently. أَزْجَى الْاَمْرَ : He deferred or postponed the affair. الرِّيْحُ تُرْجِى السَّحَابَ : The wind drives away or gently drives the clouds. أنَّ اللَّهَ يُزْجِئْ سَحَابًا : Verily God drives the clouds )24:44(. مُرْجى )feminine مُرْجَاةٌ( : Applied to a horse or other beast, that is driven in his pace little by little; a small or scanty thing or such as is mean or paltry; that may be pushed and driven away. الدِّرْهَمُ : The dirhem passed or had currency or a bad piece of money had currency because of the little account that is made of it. بِبِضَاعَةٍ مُّرْجَاةٍ : Small or scanty merchandise; little in quantity or mean or paltry merchandise rejected by every one to whom it is offered; merchandise in respect of which a lowering of the price is demanded on account of its badness (12:89). زَحْزَحَ ]aor. يُزَحْزِحُ inf. noun زَحْزَحَهُ [زَحْزَفَةً : He removed him or it from his or its place or removed him far away. فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ : So whoever is removed away from the Fire )3:16( زَحْزَحَهُ عَنْ مَكَانِه : He removed him from his place. مُزَحْزِحٌ )act. part. ). One (or which) who removes. وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ : It shall not keep it away from the punishment. (2:97). زَحَفَ ]aor. يَزْحَفُ inf. noun زَحْفٌ[ : He walked or went on foot little by little; he walked with slow steps or heavily, with an effort. Syn. تَمَشَّى : He crept along. زَحَفَ said of a child, means, he went upon his posteriors little by little. زَحَفَ الْعَسْكَرُ إِلَى الْعُدُوِّ : The army went along leisurely or little by little by reason of its multitude and heaviness of motion, to the enemy. زَحَفَ الشَّيْءَ : He dragged the thing along gently. زَحَفَ الْبَعِيرُ : The camel fatigued and 357
