تم تلک لک جَمِينُهُ : The side of his forehead sweated. تَلَّ إِلَيْهِ : He supplicated humbly to him. تَلَّهُ لِلْجَبَيْنِ : He prostrated him on the ground on his forehead (37:104). تِلْکَ It is a demonstrative pronoun used to indicate something distant. تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ : These are the verses of the Book (10:2). تلا تَمَّ ]aor. يَتْلُوْ inf. noun تَلَوْتُهُ تُلُرٌ : I followed or went after him or it. وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَهَا : And by the moon when it (the moon) follows it )the sun( )913( هُوَ يَتْلُوْا فُلاناً : He follows such a one in action; he imitates him. تَلَوْتُ الْإِبِلَ : I drove the camels تَلاَ الْكِتَابَ ]aor يَتْلُوْ inf. noun تِلاَوَةٌ[ : He read, rehearsed, recited the book; he followed it and did according to it. 1) : وَاتَّبَعُوْا مَا تَتْلُوا الشَّيَاطِينُ( They follow what the Satan related; (2) they pursue the course which the rebellious men followed )2:103( يَتْلُوْا عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ : Who may recite to them Thy Signs (2:130) : Reading rehearsing, reciting relating يَتْلُوْنَ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ : They read it as it ought to be read; they follow it as it ought to be followed. ثَالِيَةٌ )fem. of ال or تالی act. part. 1): She that follows; she that reads or recites. تَالِيَاتٌ فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا plural) : Those who recite or read out discourse on religion )374( تَلاَ الْقُرْآنَ : He read or perused or he recited the Qur'an; he followed it or did according to it by reading or by conforming to it. یک ]aor. يَتِمُّ inf. noun تَمَامٌ or تَمَّ الشَّيْءُ تِمَامٌ : The thing was or became complete, entire, whole or full on without or free from deficiency.
