صِرَاطَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ ۬ۙ غَیۡرِ الۡمَغۡضُوۡبِ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیۡنَ

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy

فَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَفۡعَلُوۡا وَلَنۡ تَفۡعَلُوۡا فَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِیۡ وَقُوۡدُہَا النَّاسُ

But if you do it not — and

مَا یَفۡعَلُ اللّٰہُ بِعَذَابِکُمۡ اِنۡ شَکَرۡتُمۡ وَاٰمَنۡتُمۡ ؕ وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ

Why should Allah punish you, if you are thankful and

وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللّٰہَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِہٖۤ اِذۡ قَالُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰہُ

And they do not make a just estimate of Allah,

وَاَقۡسَمُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ جَہۡدَ اَیۡمَانِہِمۡ لَئِنۡ جَآءَتۡہُمۡ اٰیَۃٌ لَّیُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِہَا ؕ

And they swear their strongest oaths by Allah that if

وَمِنَ الۡاَعۡرَابِ مَنۡ یَّتَّخِذُ مَا یُنۡفِقُ مَغۡرَمًا وَّیَتَرَبَّصُ بِکُمُ الدَّوَآئِرَ

And among the Arabs of the desert are those who

وَمِنَ الۡاَعۡرَابِ مَنۡ یَّتَّخِذُ مَا یُنۡفِقُ مَغۡرَمًا وَّیَتَرَبَّصُ بِکُمُ الدَّوَآئِرَ

And among the Arabs of the desert are those who

وَّعَلَی الثَّلٰثَۃِ الَّذِیۡنَ خُلِّفُوۡا ؕ حَتّٰۤی اِذَا ضَاقَتۡ عَلَیۡہِمُ الۡاَرۡضُ

And He has turned with mercy to the three whose

یٰبَنِیَّ اذۡہَبُوۡا فَتَحَسَّسُوۡا مِنۡ یُّوۡسُفَ وَاَخِیۡہِ وَلَا تَایۡـَٔسُوۡا مِنۡ رَّوۡحِ

‘O my sons, go ye and search for Joseph and

مَنِ اہۡتَدٰی فَاِنَّمَا یَہۡتَدِیۡ لِنَفۡسِہٖ ۚ وَمَنۡ ضَلَّ فَاِنَّمَا یَضِلُّ

He who follows the right way follows it only for

مَنِ اہۡتَدٰی فَاِنَّمَا یَہۡتَدِیۡ لِنَفۡسِہٖ ۚ وَمَنۡ ضَلَّ فَاِنَّمَا یَضِلُّ

He who follows the right way follows it only for

اَوۡ یَکُوۡنَ لَکَ بَیۡتٌ مِّنۡ زُخۡرُفٍ اَوۡ تَرۡقٰی فِی السَّمَآءِ

‘Or thou have a house of gold or thou ascend

قُلۡنَا یٰنَارُ کُوۡنِیۡ بَرۡدًا وَّسَلٰمًا عَلٰۤی اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ ﴿ۙ۷۰﴾

We said, ‘O fire, be thou cold and a means

قُلۡ مَا یَعۡبَؤُا بِکُمۡ رَبِّیۡ لَوۡلَا دُعَآؤُکُمۡ ۚ فَقَدۡ کَذَّبۡتُمۡ

Say to the disbelievers: ‘But for your prayer to Him

اِلَّا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَذَکَرُوا اللّٰہَ کَثِیۡرًا وَّانۡتَصَرُوۡا مِنۡۢ

Save those who believe and do good works, and remember

قِیۡلَ لَہَا ادۡخُلِی الصَّرۡحَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَاَتۡہُ حَسِبَتۡہُ لُجَّۃً وَّکَشَفَتۡ

It was said to her, ‘Enter the palace.’ And when

اَمَّنۡ یُّجِیۡبُ الۡمُضۡطَرَّ اِذَا دَعَاہُ وَیَکۡشِفُ السُّوۡٓءَ وَیَجۡعَلُکُمۡ خُلَفَآءَ الۡاَرۡضِ

Or, Who answers the distressed person when he calls upon

وَاِذَا وَقَعَ الۡقَوۡلُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ اَخۡرَجۡنَا لَہُمۡ دَآبَّۃً مِّنَ الۡاَرۡضِ تُکَلِّمُہُمۡ

And when the sentence is passed against them, We shall

وَیَوۡمَ نَحۡشُرُ مِنۡ کُلِّ اُمَّۃٍ فَوۡجًا مِّمَّنۡ یُّکَذِّبُ بِاٰیٰتِنَا فَہُمۡ

And remind them of the day when We shall gather

حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءُوۡ قَالَ اَکَذَّبۡتُمۡ بِاٰیٰتِیۡ وَلَمۡ تُحِیۡطُوۡا بِہَا عِلۡمًا

Till, when they come, He will say, ‘Did you reject

وَوَقَعَ الۡقَوۡلُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ بِمَا ظَلَمُوۡا فَہُمۡ لَا یَنۡطِقُوۡنَ ﴿۸۶﴾

And the sentence shall fall upon them because they did

اَللّٰہُ یَتَوَفَّی الۡاَنۡفُسَ حِیۡنَ مَوۡتِہَا وَالَّتِیۡ لَمۡ تَمُتۡ فِیۡ مَنَامِہَا

Allah takes away the souls of human beings at the

قَالُوۡۤا اَوَلَمۡ تَکُ تَاۡتِیۡکُمۡ رُسُلُکُمۡ بِالۡبَیِّنٰتِ ؕ قَالُوۡا بَلٰی ؕ

They will say: ‘Did not your Messengers come to you

لَّا یَمَسُّہٗۤ اِلَّا الۡمُطَہَّرُوۡنَ ﴿ؕ۸۰﴾

Which none shall touch except those who are purified.

کَتَبَ اللّٰہُ لَاَغۡلِبَنَّ اَنَا وَرُسُلِیۡ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ قَوِیٌّ عَزِیۡزٌ

Allah has decreed: ‘Most surely I will prevail, I and

عٰلِمُ الۡغَیۡبِ فَلَا یُظۡہِرُ عَلٰی غَیۡبِہٖۤ اَحَدًا ﴿ۙ۲۷﴾

He is the Knower of the unseen; and He reveals

اِلَّا مَنِ ارۡتَضٰی مِنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ فَاِنَّہٗ یَسۡلُکُ مِنۡۢ بَیۡنِ یَدَیۡہِ

Except to him whom He chooses, namely a Messenger of

وَالسَّمَآءِ وَالطَّارِقِ ۙ﴿۲﴾

By the heaven and the Morning Star —

وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮکَ مَا الطَّارِقُ ۙ﴿۳﴾

And what should make thee know what the Morning Star

اِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ الۡاَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَہَا ۙ﴿۲﴾

When the earth is shaken with her violent shaking,
