PRAYERS 53 َْ ِ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ 2َ_ َ اخل ◌ْ ْري ْ ﻗُﻠُﻮ ْﺑَﻨَﺎ ،وَاَﺻ ْ ﻠِﺢ ْ ذَات َ ﺑَﻴ ِﻨَﺎ وَاﻫ ِ ﺪ ِ ﺳُﺒُﻞ َ اﻟﺴَّﻼَم ِ ،وَجنَِّﻨَﺎ ْ ﻣِﻦ َ اﻟﻈُّﻠُﻤَﺎت ِ ا ْ ىل َ اﻟﻨُّﻮ ْ رِ،وَﺟَﻨِّ; ْ ﻨَﺎ اﻟ ْ ﻔَﻮَاﺣِﺶ َ وَاﻟ ﻔِنتََ،ﻣَﺎ ﻇَﻬَﺮ َ ﻣِﻨ ْ ﻬَﺎ وَﻣَﺎ َْﺑَﻄَﻦَ،وَﺑَﺎرِک ْ ﻟَﻨَﺎ ىف ِ اَمس ْ ﺎﻋِﻨَﺎ وَاَﺑ ﺼَﺎرِﻧَﺎ وَﻗُﻠُﻮ ْﺑِﻨَﺎ وَاَزوَاﺟِﻨَﺎ وَذُرِّﻳَّﺎﺗِﻨَﺎ، ْوَﺗُﺐ [َ2َﻠ ْ ْ ﻨَﺎ اِﻧَّک َ اَﻧ ْ ﺖ َ اﻟﺘَّﻮَّاب ُ اﻟﺮِّﺣِﻴ ْ ﻢُ،وَاﺟ ْ ﻌَﻠ ْ ﻨَﺎ ﺷَﺎکِﺮِﻳ َ ﻦ َ ﻟِﻨِﻌ َْ ﻤَﺘِک ْ ﻣُﺜﻨِني ْﺑِﻬَﺎﻗَﺎﺑِﻠِﻴ وَاَمتَِّﻬَﺎ2َﻠَ[ ﻬَﺎ ﻨَﺎ. 79 Guide our hearts towards goodness O All a h , and establish reconciliation amongst us. Show us the path to peace. Deliver us from darkness and guide us to the light. Save us from evil deeds and mischief whether these are manifest or hidden. O Lord, bless our eyes, our ears and our hearts, bless our spouses and children and incline towards us with mercy. Surely You accept repentance and are oft-returning with Mercy. Make us thankful for Your blessings. Make us acknowledge and accept Your Beneficence and accomplish that bounty for us. Prayers for Tahajjud Prayer Hadrat ‘ A ’ishah ra relates that when the Holy Prophet sa used to wake up during the night, he used to recite this prayer: َ َ ﻻ ْاِﻟªٰ ْ اِﻻ َّ اَﻧ ْ ﺖ َ ﺳُﺒ ْ ﺤَﺎﻧَک َ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ اَﺳ ْ ﺘَﻐ ِْ ﻔِﺮُک َ ﻟِﺬَﻧ ْىب َ وَاَﺳ ﺎَﻟُک َ ر ْ ﺣ ﻤﺘ ْ ِْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ زِد ْىن 2ِﻠ َّ ْ ﻤًﺎ و ْﻻَﺗُﺰِغ ِْ ﻗَﻠ ْىب ْ ﺑَﻌ ْﺪ َ اِذ ِْ ﻫَﺪَﻳ Zَْىن ِْوَﻫَﺐ ْىل ْﻣِﻦ َ ﻟَّﺪُﻧ َ ک ر ْ ً ﺣ ﻤﺔ ْ ُ اِﻧَّکَ اَﻧ ﺖَ اﻟﻮÛََّﺎب. 80 There is none worthy of worship except You. Holy are You O All a h , I seek Your forgiveness for my sins and beg for Your Mercy. O All a h , increase my knowledge and do not let my heart become perverse after You have guided it. You
