PRAYERS 50 O All a h , I prostrate for You. I have faith in You and submit to You. O my Lord, You are my Sustainer. My face is bowing before its Creator, who brought it into existence, gave it countenance and gave it eyes and ears. Beneficent is the Being who is the Best Creator. Hadrat ‘ A ’ishah ra relates that one night she found the Holy Prophet sa missing and searching for him she went to the mosque. He was prostrate with his feet digging into the ground and he was praying: ْ ْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ اِىن ِّ اَﻋُﻮ ْذ ُ ﺑِﺮِﺿَﺎک َ ﻣِﻦ ْ ﺳُﺨ ْﻄِک َ ،وَمبُِﻌَﺎﻓَﺎﺗِک َ ﻣِﻦ ﻋُﻘُﻮ ْﺑَﺘِکَ، َ وَاَﻋُﻮذُﺑِک َ ﻣِﻨ ک َ ،ﻻ ْ ِْاُﺣ Øْ ْ ﺛَﻨَﺎء ً 2َﻠَﻴ ْ ک َ اَﻧ ٰ ﺖ َ کَﻤَﺎ اَﺛَْﻴ _َ2 َ ْﺖ َ ﻧَﻔ ﺴِک. 73 O All a h , I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, I seek shelter in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I supplicate for Your protection. I cannot count Your attributes. You are exactly like, You have defined Yourself. Prayer between Prostrations Hadrat ‘Abdull a h bin ‘Abb a s ra relates that the Holy Prophet sa used to recite this prayer between prostrations: َّ ْاَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ ِْ اﻏ ْﻔِﺮىل وَار ْ ْ ﺣﻤ ْ ِْ وَاﻫ ِْﺪِىن ْو2ََﺎﻓِىن ُْ وَاﺟ ِْ رب ْىن ْ وَار ِْ زُﻗ ْىن ْ وَار ِْ ﻓَﻌ ىن. 74 O All a h , forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, keep me safe, reform me, give me sustenance and bestow dignity upon me. Prayers after Tashahhud Hadrat ‘Abdull a h bin Mas‘ u d ra relates that we used to offer s al a t behind the Holy Prophet sa and used to say,
